Hi all, I thought I post this thread to add my personal experience diagnosing the check engine (CEL) and VTM-4 light issues. Hopefully this information can help somebody. My 2006 Pilot EX AWD now has 177k miles and is running as good as new now that I adjusted the valves to fix the issues! Background:Oil is clean & full. The CEL & VTM-4 light randomly came on with code P3400. The car feels low on power and shudders above 55 mph. The ECO light also doesn't turn on anymore.
