Regarding Ruger CS, a cousin of mine had a jam-o-matic SR1911. It continued well after the pistol was broken in. Short story - he called Ruger, they emailed him a pre-paid label, the pistol was sent in and then returned back to him in about 10 days. Ruger changed the slide, barrel and bushing.The recoil spring was weak, fixed. Trigger was awful by my high standards, complete polish and trigger job, fixed. Some failures to feed and go into battery, so we polished and contoured the feed rap, and tight spots on the rails, fixed. Dear Ruger lovers, Unlike you all lucky guys on this forum. The SR1911 I bought in 2014 has got some CNC cutting issues on the frame which was causing some problems. I have discovered the issue after 10 months using it in competitions. I have contacted Ruger's customer service. Amazingly, Ruger offered me to replace it with a brand new one.

First, it will occasionally stove pipe cases while ejecting. Second, it very frequently fails to lock open when the clip has emptied.
