In general Zaws got ignored in melee 2.9 which results in them being less viable than variety other melee weapons of the same class (that had their base damage, crit, crit damage and status chance boosted).A 4+4 run (4 catalyst + 4 phylaxis) gives you 3000-3050 standing (the 50 extra is from the drone stage bonus, which is a new addition this time). 3000 standing gets you a built forma (which normally takes a day to build).
