Without giving too much away, the only one of the "dangerous techs" that actually have consequences for your game beyond just influencing the endgame crisis is the Sapient AI tech. It gives you two potential negative outcomes, depending on your empire settings. If you've given your robots citizen rights, you ....

EDIT Prime - the wiki says the prerequisite for the AI Rebellion event is Sapient Combat Simulators NOT Autonomous Ship Intellects. So I likely still do not satisfy the requirements to trigger an AI Rebellion event. So I created an egalitarian fanatic materialist democratic meritocracy beacon of liberty technocracy (this last civic was acquired in game) humanoid faction called the United Colonies of Kobol which I plan to overthrow while playing as a machine uprising. The origin I picked was Mechanist because more robots. I got Sapient Combat AI ...

Any automated system, be it production, defense (e.g. why ai computer for ships is a dangerous tech), climate control, smart toilets, can be affected and be integrated in a machine conscience intent on punishing you for your organic sins.OK so I didn't want to research this because it's "dangerous", and having AI running my ships just seems daft...for obvious reasons. But I got the tech from debris (obviously at least one other empire has it) and now I can't seem to take it off my ships. Hi, I have reached the point in my game (first time for me playing stellaris) where i now have access to research Sapient Combat AI as well as Jump Drive Tech. I can understand why Sapient AI would be considered dangerous but why is Jump Drive Tech considered dangerous? Both are highlighted in the orangy-reddish colour in the tech selection."If you research Sapient Combat AI, how does it make sense that the Uprising will take over control of some of your planets" Well, SkyNet in Terminator started as a Sentient Combat AI that then took over the worlds weapon manufacturing system and used them to build it's robot army. You are a teaching a combat AI how to think, analyze and adapt. What you can do, however, if you want to trigger a machine uprising, is set your robots to Allowed and your AI policy to Servitude. Basically, the way it works is like this. At any point after the mid game year, any empire that has researched either Sapient Combat Computers or Synthetics can get the AI uprising if they haven't set their AI policy to Citizen Rights, Robots are allowed, and you ... ….

Dec 11, 2018 · If your tracking is higher than your targets' evasion, then that tracking is wasted. So the answer is that it depends on what you're firing at. I generally prefer the precog interface. For the swarm one, you mostly use it for corvettes and the difference is that precog has higher sublight speed while the sapient has higher evasion. I believe it's More Events Mod that will fire the option to pay some science and prevent it. You will get several events indicating that the uprising is happening. The outcomes of these events have no impact on the uprising. At any time if you give ai rights the uprising stops, also (i haven't seen this myself) if you take The Flesh is weak ...This page was last edited on 14 October 2017, at 12:27. I shoot myself in the foot. But in the second case a Precognitive Artillery computer would be my choice vs the AI that continues to use ships of all sizes throughout the game (10 tracking really makes a difference for a heavy weapon trying to hit a covette) and a Sapient Artillery computer would be my choice in MP where I presume everyone will be fielding BB monofleets. matt noyes first wifelouisiana gun shows Picket - I'd say this is easily a win for Precognitive. You get more fire rate and +10 more tracking (40 vs. 30) over a Sapient computer. The only thing that Sapient offers that Precognitive doesn't is a +10% evasion boost, but Destroyers aren't really "dodge-tanks" like Corvettes can be. Line computers - this one I find interesting. 80 ak receiver blank Good answer! I ended up reverting AI rights to Servitude and researched Synthetics, just as I planned.
